There are three scenic overlooks along River Place and Big View. The overlooks have seating and shade for enjoying panoramic views of the area. There are two parks in River Place. One is The Woodlands Park which is at the bottom of the hill on Big View Dr along Panther Hollow shoreline of Lake Austin. The other park is Sun Tree Park at the intersection of River Place and Big View. The parks have a pavilion, charcoal grills, shaded swings and jungle gyms, benches, a soccer field, gazebo, and exercise area. Nature trails wind through a wooded preserve area within the area and provide a very peaceful environment with sitting areas for resting and enjoying the view. Shopping and Dining are close by.
