Aqua Verde is a Lake Austin waterfront community in West Austin.  Most of the homes were built int he 1980s and 1990s and are between 1,400 and 2,500 sq ft.  Recently, we’ve been seeing some new construction of much larger estates with upwards of 5,000 sq ft and all of the luxury amenities you would expect.  With both waterfront homes with boat docks and lake view homes with access to a private boat dock for residents close by, this neighborhood is perfect for someone looking for lake living close to the city.

Where is Aqua Verde?

Aqua Verde is located west of Highway 360 and east Lake Austin just south of 2222.  The neighborhood can be most easily accessed from Cedar Street off 360.  Then, simply make a right on Bunny Run and a left on Live Oak and you’ll come to the Aqua Verde intersection which is within the neighborhood.  Commuting from Aqua Verde is fairly easy with 360 about a two minute drive and 2222 just about a mile north.  You can either use 360 to travel north and south or hit 2222 and head over to MoPac.

Places to Dine Around Aqua Verde

If you’re in the mood for Tex-Mex, try Maudie’s Milagro and get their fish tacos with a side of queso dip.  If you’re in the mood for Italian, try 360 Uno.  They have soups, salads, pasta, paninis and pizza for lunch and dinner and several great pastries and coffee for breakfast.  If you’re in the mood for a sushi splurge, try Uchiko.
