Sendera is one of the most popular subdivisions in Southwest Austin. Homes in Sendera were built by Milburn Homes from 1997-2001. It is not unusual to find several Sendera homes on the market at a given time. Sales prices in the years 2007-2009 averaged in the $220s. You can find single-story homes as small as 1,501 sq. ft., and two-story homes that have almost 3,300 sq. ft of living area. Some lots back to greenbelts.

The Sendera Austin neighborhood is located in one of Southwest Austin’s “go-to” zip codes: 78749. Sendera is actually divided into three sections by Davis Lane on the north, and by W. Slaughter Lane on the south. Travel south on Mopac to the Davis Lane exit and turn left, or take a left (east) on W. Slaughter Lane from Mopac. The entrances to the neighborhood are a short drive east from Mopac on either of these roads.

Sendera homeowners have their own community center on Davis Lane (with swimming pool, picnic facilities and playscape), and an additional neighborhood park in the Sendera South section. One great feature of Sendera is its proximity to Mopac and from there to jobs and Austin area attractions. Shopping and eating establishments, like Shady Hollow Village, Escarpment Village in Circle C Ranch, The Shops at Arbor Trails, and Southpark Meadows are all within 5 miles of Sendera. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the Veloway, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, area City of Austin parks, and the Grey Rock Golf Club.
