Downtown Austin is only 8 miles from the neighborhood, which makes it an option for those who work Downtown but would prefer to live in a hill country setting and can’t stand driving up and down 620 everyday. This neighborhood is also conveniently located close to Sunset Valley, home to many of Austin’s retailers, so you don’t have to make shopping an all day event.
Things to Do Near The Ridge at Lantana
Being so close to Downtown Austin, you don’t have to stay in on a weeknight when your friends are going out because it’s too far. Hop on Southwest Parkway and hit MoPac and a few minutes later, you’re in the heart of Downtown. You’ll find yourself going to Barton Creek and Zilker Park for an afternoon and hitting some of Austin’s best restaurants when you want a night out. Or, take the kids to that museum you’ve been promising them. Those who prefer golf are in a perfect spot to hit some of the Texas Hill Country’s best courses. Fazio Canyons Golf Course is a local favorite.
