Gaines Ranch is located in beautiful Southwest Austin off Southwest Parkway in the Travis Country vicinity. Travel into the city is less than 12 minutes, and only a few minutes longer if you want to shop at Barton Creek Mall, or relax at one of the areas fine dining venues. Gaines Ranch is hidden behind the greenery of tall trees. The community can be missed by people driving by on the main street who do not realize that there are more houses behind the trees. The beauty of Gaines Ranch is the location. The community feels like it’s located in wide open space – it has a country feel. Yes, there are other homes and subdivisions surrounding Gaines Ranch, but there are so many trees that the area feels pretty private. Another asset to living in this subdivision is the greenbelt located right behind the community which is great for exploring.
About Gaines Ranch
Gaines Ranch offers hike and bikes trails, swimming, and wide roads to give a feeling of a slower time. While living in Gaines Ranch you will have time to get to know your neighbors as walk or jog down the street. The wooded area surrounding the subdivision is an attraction to wild life – you may see animals early in the am, or later in the evening around feeding time.
What I like about Gaines Ranch
I like the areas that surround Southwest Parkway, in particular the dining. There are many types of foods you may choose to eat, from Mexican to Italian food. There is also a private school a little further down the road. I enjoy going to the mall if only to window shop.
