Bridges at Bear Creek is an upscale new home community and development in South-Southwest Austin. This lovely neighborhood is located between Frate Barker Road and FM-1626 on both sides of Brodie Lane. Bridges at Bear Creek builders include Mercedes Homes, Buffington Homes, Scott Felder Homes and Rollo Custom Homes. The development of the Bridges at Bear Creek homes began in 2008. Since then, a number of homes have been sold in the various sections of the subdivision. Homes on the east side of Brodie Lane (Austin 78748) are on 50′ lots. Those on the west side (zip 78739), not including the Estates section, are built on 60′ lots. Homes in the Bridges at Bear Creek have from just over 2,000 sq. ft. to over 4,300 sq. ft. of living area. The average sales prices in 2008 and 2009 of around $300k give an indication of what you as a potential home buyer can expect in price and in features.
