South Congress, better known as SoCo Austin, is more widely known as an offbeat entertainment district than residential area. Where is South Congress Located?
SoCo is considered everything along South Congress Ave from Town Lake to E. Oltorf Street. Bouldin Creek borders SoCo on the west and Travis Heights borders on the east. Bouldin Creek and Travis Heights are two of the more desirable neighborhoods in South Austin. A lot of the appeal of these neighborhoods is because of the close proximity to South Congress. Another highlight of the location of SoCo is the unbelievable view of the city. Nowhere else in Austin will you get a better sight of the Capital with the rest of the city wrapping around it.
