Where are The Estates of Shady Hollow?
The Estates of Shady Hollow is located off Brodie Lane, south of Slaughter. You can access the neighborhood through Green Emerald Terrace or Edwards Hollow Run. Both streets run into Brodie Lane. The neighborhood’s schools, Baranoff Elementary and Baily Middle School, are located just outside the perimeter of the neighborhood making them within walking distance. If you commute, you can use Slaughter Lane to get to either I35 or MoPac. Brodie Lane is about half way between both freeways.
Things to Do Near the Estates of Shady Hollow
Take the kids to Shady Hollow Park. With a neighborhood pool, tennis courts, playground and ball fields, there is something for kids of all ages. You can also get involved in the Estates of Shady Hollow neighborhood association. For a casual dinner, head to Galaxy Cafe South and try their sweet potato fries. Or head to Brick Oven Restaurant for pizza, pasta and salads.
