Cinnamon SoLa is a small neighborhood of duplexes built in the 1980s.  These duplexes have two- and three-bedroom units, with one-bedroom and one bathroom on the ground floor and one to two-bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor, which is a perfect floor plan for roommates. Owner occupants prefer the units separated by a carport that share no walls, but the duplexes that do share a wall are laid out in a way that you won’t hear your neighbor’s TV.

Where is Cinnamon SoLa?

Cinnamon SoLa is located in South Austin’s 78704 neighborhood on Cinnamon Path.  The neighborhood can be accessed off Del Curto Road from Lamar Blvd or off Thornton Road from Oltorf.   Cinnamon SoLa is a convenient location for those commuting Downtown.  Though Lamar does get busy during rush hour, there are a few other streets, 1st and Congress, that can be used as alternates.

Whatever you’re craving, you can find in South Austin.  If you’re in the mood for a sushi splurge, try Uchi on Lamar which is well known for its unique rolls and fresh ingredients.  Hungry at 2am?  Head over to Kerbey Lane Cafe which is open 24 hours.  If you want a unique happy hour or late night spot?  Head to Red’s Porch and sit upstairs.  They have great happy hour deals and beautiful greenbelt views.  One night a week they show a movie on their big screen, which is another fun activity.
