The homes have many interior design features and details that are standard including tile flooring, center islands, garden tubs, walk-in closets and many energy star features. The homes are positioned on two cul de sacs with a large green space between the two sections. Entry into each section is from a different road. Central Park is situated in an area where there are trees around most of the community. Most of the area that is considered South Austin, between Ben White and Wm. Cannon, is comprised of neighborhoods that were built in the mid to late 1970’s. Homes built in this era were small compared to today’s homes and featured more compact and utilitarian floor plans with larger outdoor space. Over the years as families grew many of the garages were turned into living space. Many are great little neighborhoods where changes were slow and many homes have original owners or are the children of the owners. But changes have come and are blending in very nicely.
