Barton View consists of a little over 100 properties and is bordered by Highway 290 and ends at Barton Creek. Barton View is also bordered by a preserved area of over 80 acres known as the Brodie Tract. As part of the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone, the Brodie Tract is an environmentally sensitive area that feeds water into Austin’s water system. Barton View is accessible from the Highway 290 access road at Stearn’s Lane, just west of the Capital of Texas Highway (360) and east of the Mo-Pac Expressway.
