I am Jim Gilbert, a Realtor with Sky Realty in Austin. Claire, my partner and assistant in our Heart of Austin Homes real estate business, and I have been happily married for almost 40 years. We have lived in Austin for almost six years, and find the Austin area to be a great place to live, to work and to own a home. I specialize in properties in S/SW Austin, but have worked with clients all over the Austin area.We have three daughters, five grandsons and three sons-in-law! (How the balance in our family has changed through the years!) Claire and I are now applying the fruit of our life partnership and our work experiences to meeting the needs of our real estate clients.
To real estate, I bring some valuable experience from two other careers. In my dozen years as a chemical engineer and manager, my strength was in solving problems and taking care of the details of projects. From my over twenty years as a pastor, I bring a servant’s heart and a genuine love for people. The principles of God’s Word guide me in my relationships and work with my clients. I major on communication with my clients, educating them so they can make informed decisions, and helping them through the many steps of the process of buying or selling homes.
