The older section sits between Duval, Parmer, McNeil and Mopac. The newer section lies within the boundaries of McNeil, Parmer and Anderson Mill. Both sections are an easy commute to downtown Austin.

All of the conveniences for shopping and dining are in and around the Milwood neighborhoods. There are several HEB’s for grocery shopping, numerous banks, drug stores and restaurants. One of the most popular stores in the area is Fry’s Electronics. Great restuarants such as Opal Divines and Cool River are close by with the latest addition,a restaurant called Weirdo’s with sand volleyball tournaments on the courts in the back of the restaurant.
