North Austin encompasses a wide variety of neighborhoods, businesses and towns. Although not in Austin proper, Pflugerville and Round Rock are often referred to as North Austin. Other areas include Anderson Mill, Avery Ranch, Wells Branch and Balcones Woods and several more. Major thoroughfares include FM 620, US 183 and IH35 N and Loop 1N. With the new toll roads, North Austin is becoming much easier and faster to navigate. Great shopping centers include Lakeline Mall and the Domain. You can also find great entertainment sites and fine restaurants or check out some homes.
