Overlook Estates is a small neighborhood made up of larger lot to acreage sized lots in Leander, Texas. There are many beautiful custom homes in this neighborhood and many have pools, beautiful oak trees and Hill Country views. Home prices generally range in the $400,000. range per ABOR MLS October 2010. Homes in this neighborhood may have great features like hickory cabinets, granite counters, island kitchens, built-ins, high ceilings, media rooms, wrought iron fences, sprinkler systems, tankless water heaters and more. Among the builders in this neighborhood are Jeff Watson, Drees and others. There are a few lots left for sale that are available to build on. Underground utilities make this an attractive neighborhood. There is a mandatory homeowners association called Overlook Estates HOA. Street names in Overlook Estates include Overlook Bend and Scenic Path. Currently there is just one street in, Scenic Path and one other horseshoe shaped street, Overlook Bend joining that one. Overlook Estates is located in zip code 78641 just off of County Road 273 next to Oak Ridge neighborhood in growing Leander, Texas. Williamson County, Texas is located just north of Travis County and is growing very fast. County Road 273 is destined to have a hike and bike trail going into the new Leander TOD or Transit Oriented Development to the north and intersecting the proposed Brushy Creek Trail. This neighborhood does not have the usual amenity center common to many neighborhoods but residents enjoy some common areas and a great neighborhood. The Crystal Falls Golf Course is just moments away. HEB Plus grocery store, Kohl’s, Lowe’s and more are close by. Soon, the Leander TOD or Transit oriented Development will be further developed. Currently the Leander Station is there for commuter rail into Austin. The entire Capital Metro station has Wi Fi as do the trains and buses. There is also a huge Park and Ride to park at while using the bus or rail services. Leander has a great library, many parks and some nice restaurants.
