What I love about Block House are the wonderful historic amenities as well as the other recreational amenities. There is a lot of history in Block House and these are memorialized by engraved stone markers. Recreationally, Block House has many scenic trail, two pools and more. There is a BMX bike park. I also love all the big pecan, live oak and other trees in Block House Creek. If that weren’t enough, Block House is next to the new Cedar Park Recreation Center at Cedar Park Town Center.

Block House Creek enjoys having two schools right in the neighborhood – a private school for young children as well as Leander ISD’s Block House Elementary. There are also many colleges nearby such as ACC in Cedar Park. ACC has also bought land in the Leander TOD to build a new ACC campus there.
