Leander’s Best Kept Secret
There is a group of neighborhoods in the Crystal Falls area of Leander that will really capture your heart. This section on the west side of Leander is the beginning of the hill country just northwest of Austin. There are breathtaking views in Grand Mesa at Crystal Falls. This is a neighborhood of custom homes on 1-7 acre tracts. Grand Mesa offers the wide open spaces of Texas with long hill country views. Crystal Falls Golf course meanders through the hills here. The Fairways at Crystal Falls overlooks the golf course and has beautiful views of the hill country. The Highlands at Crystal Falls is also a great place to call home and has an estate section which also has great views. At the lower end of the price range in Crystal Falls is The Boulders at Crystal Falls. These homes start just under $200,000 and the amenity center has a resort type pool, sand volleyball and a great picnic area and playground.
Leander Schools
It seems like there are schools at every turn in Leander, some so new that they only offer two grades at this time. Leander has the infrastructure for exploding growth and that includes schools. The Leander ISD has concentrated on schools with high ratings. The school district is very large geographically and extends from Leander southwest into River Place and Steiner Ranch. Schools in this district are top notch.
