Parkside at Slaughter is a great little community in Southeast Austin made up of newer homes of quality. Cherrywood’s 13th annual fall planting occurred this year on October 20th after a week long delay in the delivery of the trees by the provider, the nonprofit group Treefolks. I hope everyone has enjoyed all of this wonderful rain. I usually walk at McKinney Falls State Park and had to take a chance these last few days. I love to walk here. There is a great new restaurant in Southeast Austin that my daughter and I tried for lunch the other day. After driving by this place many times I finally had a chance to stop. I really love the community of Onion Creek. I like the fact that there are condos, garden homes and larger single family homes.
