Arriving early 2011, the W Residences Austin ushers in a new era for Downtown Austin living. The W is a successful, hip and sophisticated brand of hotels (and more recently, residences) that attracts amazing commercial partners. It’s no coincidence that this is where the famed Austin City Limits will house its new recording studio (that’ll now have the ability to expand into a larger theater venue as well). Look for the W Austin to become a new destination point in Downtown Austin and, therefore, for the W Residences Austin to be on the Downtown Austin real estate watch list.

W Residences Austin – Interiors
The W Residences Austin interiors are smashing. Admittedly on the modern side, they still capture the timeless elegance one would expect of its higher price point. Features include bulthaup cabinets (smoky grey or espresso brown colors) combined with stainless Miehle appliances. It’s a powerhouse combination. Tile is either marble or or stone; fixtures, Kohler or Duravit.

W Residences Austin Amenities
What won’t the W have? That’s the question. There’s the Whatever/Whenever concierge that will basically do whatever you want, whenever you want. I’d say within reason but by that I’m only talking about legal barriers – not that you’d be taking them too far. Residents will have their own pool and valet service. They’ll share the gym – huge! – with hotel guests. They can also use all the amenities available to hotel guests. For example, room service and the hotel pool and spa. Lastly, there’s first dibs on Austin City Limits concerts and special deals when traveling to other W Hotels.
W Residences Austin Lifestyle and Location
Living at the W is likely to feel pretty swanky. Not only is your building in the heart of the 2nd St. District, but your building is likely to become the heart of the 2nd St. District. The services, the views, the amenities, are all pretty spectacular. And there’s the added benefit that you can have first dibs at concerts at the Austin City Limits venues.
