The Heritage Square Condo complex is a gem. Located in the heart of Allandale at 2301 Lawnmont, rumor has it the complex was built in 1982 by a number of professors who banded together. Per their origination intent, no renters are allowed in the 18 units meaning it’s only owner-occupied. As long as this continues to be the way Heritage Square does things, it’s a nice way for owners to ensure the complex remains well cared for.

Heritage Square Complex
The complex, more or less, makes a rectangle around a courtyard. Part of the complex is one story. Most of these first floor units with no neighbors above have doors out the front (to where the parking is) and door out the back to the courtyard and sometimes patios. There is a section with two stories as well – some which also have two sets of doors. The property is brick, as eluded to above, seems to be well cared for. The yard and gardens are quite lovely.
Heritage Square Condos
The units are all either 2/1s or 2/2‘s. Sizes range from 890SF to just under 1150. Most of the floor plans have good layouts and decent storage. AND… maybe even a fireplace.
