Pemberton Heights is a very well established neighborhood in Central Austin. The homes are on larger home sites with the majority having gorgeous trees. The Pemberton Heights neighborhood was developed by The Austin Development Company in the late 1920s. The homes in the Pemberton Heights area of town were planned with paved streets. Some of the streets were to have $3,500 to $4,100 homes known as cottages and some of the paved streets were reserved for the mansions which started at a whopping $150,000.
