The Colorado Foothills is a small pocket community in West Austin. The neighborhood is made up of mostly medium sized ranch homes built in the 50s and 60s. However, when the 21st century hit, the trend turned to building multi-million dollar estates, so you’ll now find a mix. Most of these larger homes are on Balcones Drive , which runs along the outside of the older portion of the neighborhood. The original neighborhood was built in and around the Foothill Parkway/ Foothills Terrace roundabout.

The neighborhood itself is located just a short 5 miles from Downtown Austin.
