The Cedar Park neighborhood of Oakmont Forest was established in 1995 with growth through 2000.  You will find a variety of traditional style homes offering soaring ceilings and functional floor-plans.  The streets are lined with soaring trees providing much needed shade during the summer months. There is a community park with a basketball court and playground for the kiddies.  You can also hike or bike on the trails along the greenbelt. Finding the Oakmont Forest

From Austin, travel north on Hwy. 183 to West Park St and turn left. You will see the entrance to Oakmont Forest on your left as you approach South Lakeline. Currently (Oct 2010) there is construction that doesn’t allow access all the way to Lakeline that should be completed in winter 2010. This new extension from Lakeline will provide direct access to the Lakeline Mall and shopping at the Westside Preserve at the intersection of Cypress Creek Rd and Lakeline.
