Cedar Park is a bedroom community of Austin. It is located across the street from the northwest quadrant of Austin at FM 620 N and Hwy 183. Cedar Park homes are available in all price ranges. Cedar Park
The wooded and rolling streets in this area make great landscapes in Cedar Park. The golf community of Twin Creeks is gorgeous. Also, the Buttercup Creek communities are very popular. Cedar Park offers great choices for homes in every price range. You would most likely live in one of the two following zip codes: 78613 or 78641.
Fun in Cedar Park
Cedar Park has chosen and planned for Cedar Park to be a great entertainment area. The Cedar Park Center is the third largest venue in the Austin area. It offers hockey and is home to the Texas Stars with 40 games a year plus pre-seasonal play off games, concerts, ice shows, various types of entertainment and sporting events. There is parking for 2,500 cars. Cedar Park residents also enjoy a large recreation center for their daily workouts, swimming, etc. The coming attraction is Schlitterbahn and residents are anxiously awaiting the grand opening. Cedar Park has some great parks such as Milburn Park—40 acres of fun. It is also fun to go to the new farmer’s market open, every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. all year long. It has a great atmosphere with live music and the home grown produce that is awesome.
Cedar Park Shopping
You may shop to your heart’s content in Cedar Park. Lakeline Mall offers every type of shopping that one could want. The mall is just the beginning of this major shopping area. There are strip centers all around the mall and the drawing boards are full of future shopping venues. Cedar Park also has a unique center called The Railyard. Here you will find specialty shops, sports bars, hair salons, restaurants and more. The 1890 Ranch is a great shopping center with franchise stores such as Office Max, Gold’s Gym, etc. and the anchor store, Target. Cedar Park is has an abundance of shopping.
