Buda is one of the fastest growing communities in the Austin area. Buda is just outside of Austin and has managed to retain much of its small town qualities. Location and Schools
The city of Buda is located about 15 miles from Austin on I-35. Traveling south the downtown exit is on the right and will lead you to the major shopping area or turn right and follow the signs to the historic district. Students in the area attend school in the Hays Consolidated ISD. There are many neighborhood schools but with expanding growth and population boundaries often change. Situated between Austin and San Marcos, students also have many options when trying to decide on a college or university located nearby.
