Living is easy at Sun City in Georgetown, Tx. If you want to play tennis, swim all year anytime in a variety of pools, play a round of golf on one of the 3 courses, hike and bike on meandering trails then this vibrant community is for you. Anything you want to do and any club you can imagine is available here.
You have to be over 55 to live there, but I hear they are relaxing that restriction some. Still it is an active Senior community.....emphasis on the word Active. I have never seen so many activities, events, dinners, wine tastings, parties in my life !!
Georgetown, once a sleepy town, gained notoriety when Sun City moved in 10 or so years ago. Because of the increase in population, there has been multiple new shopping areas built which includes Wolf Ranch that has Best Buy, Ross, Super Target, TJ Maxx and a ton more of great shops and restaurants, Try McAllister's Deli and then the Cold Stone Ice Cream for dessert. Mmmm tasty.
