Bee Caves and the Backyard
In April at a City Council meeting the owner of The Backyard, announced this will be their last season at the existing location. They are are looking to to move west of the Bee Cave Central Park. The concept plan was presented to the City Council. In the proposal the new venue is designed to be a state of the art "Green" venue with the idea to host concerts and festivals as well as private events. The targeted capacity would be 7,500 people that would be of permanent seating, lawn and table seating along with general admission and standing room. The new location is to provide for parking that could hold about 2,500 cars and this would be close the venue to provide for a short walk to get there.
