Buttercup Creek Cave Preserve
In Buttercup Creek the city has set aside the Buttercup Creek Cave Preserve. This preserve has a wide variety of caves all over the west side of Cedar Park. Just recently the preserve has added more that 40 educational signs located along the trail of the cave preserve. On these signs you will find information about the caves, the plants that live in them and the endangerred species that live in them. It's really nice to the see the city preserving these caves and making it an educational place for children to learn from. If you would like to visit these caves you can pick up a map with detailed cave information from the Cedar Park Parks and Recreation.
