Beautiful Barton Creek
Austin has always been a haven for golfers and many of the golf courses have attracted some pretty "Big" names in the golf world. The Austin Country club will always be associated with the legend himself, Harvey Pennick. Lions Municipal's claim to fame will forever be linked to the fact that both Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite built their game on this course when they were kids. Barton Creek has had it's brush with fame also when in the 1980's the Legends of Golf (senior tour) moved from Onion Creek's course to the Barton Springs course.
Sadly, the "senior tour" has since moved on but the beauty and desireability of the Barton Creek area will live on forever because it continues to offer outstanding living aminities and quality homes for even the most discriminating buyer.
