The Hills of Lost Creek

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 3:04pm. 45 Views, 0 Comments.

Great Schools, Active Community, Scenic, Conveniently Located, Home to Lost Creek Country Club.

The Hills of Lost Creek neighborhood has all these qualities and more. The homes here were built primarily in the late 70's and 80's on roomy lots some offering beautiful canyon or Hill Country views. Buyers are drawn to this very popular neighborhood for many reasons, one being that it falls in the Eanes ISD which is routinely ranked one of the outstanding school systems in Texas, known for excellent academics and sports. Another is that it is located just off Loop 360 making it convenient to Downtown Austin and the Austin International Airport. Homes generally run in the $300,000 to $800,000 range.

Within the community is the Lost Creek Country Club which offers…

Austin Lake Estates

lake_austin_estates_park_2912Living In Austin Lake Estates has some of the benefits of living in the country but the convenience of being only a short drive to Downtown Austin or the ABI Airport. It has a more lax HOA than many West Austin neighborhoods but doesn't lack in community spirit as seen in the many festivals and gatherings it has, most centered at the beautiful lake side neighborhood park. Austin Lake Estates is located in the community off Cuernavaca Dr. which is west of Loop 360 off Bee Cave Rd. This streets at the northern most section of the neighborhood compose Austin Lake Estates.

Homes in Austin Lake Estates vary widely. You will find everything between beautiful homes that front Lake Austin all the way to small cottage homes a few blocks from the lake. It defineltly…

Austin Sweet Austin

Friday, September 18th, 2009 at 12:48pm. 126 Views, 0 Comments.

Austin has always been one of my favorite cities for good food with a great variety of Homestyle, BBQ, Mexican, Italian and even Asian to a degree but now I think even the desserts rule! Having a sweet tooth I am drawn to bakeries, sno cone vendors and anywhere they sell ice cream and I've sampled widely of the "sweeteries" (my new term) in Austin! I'd like to share a few of my favorites with you. Categories, cookies, gelato and cupcakes.

Sugar Mama's Bake Shop on South 1st in South Austin has out of this world cupcakes! When I married this summer I had them do cupcakes for my wedding and they were fabulously moist and tasty without being too sweet. The menu includes daily standards and others on a rotating basis all baked fresh each day. My favorite? The…

NW Hills Austin

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 at 9:39am. 128 Views, 0 Comments.

Living in the NW Hills area you feel transported to another era. Graceful homes on large treed lots are the norm for this highly desired community. Mostly built in the '60's and '70's homes tend to be of the classical/traditional design with established mature plantings and manicured lawns. Many of the homes have been updated to today's taste and rarely do you see the type of rehabs you see in other parts of Austin where it no longer reflects the style of the neighborhood. Being centrally located in Austin sandwiched between Mopac and Loop 360 east to west and Spicewood Springs to 2222 north to south you are convenient to not only major Austin employers but great shopping, dining and recreation.

If NW Hills is a neighborhood that you're interested in…

Scofield Farms

Monday, April 13th, 2009 at 9:41pm. 116 Views, 0 Comments.

If you're looking for a great North Austin community close to many of Austin's major employers explore all that Scofield Farms has to offer. Driving through this affordable neighborhood you'll find tree lined streets and well kept lawns making it evident that residents take pride in their community. The residents are provided green spaces and parks to enjoy as well as a pool and walking trails. Nearby is some of the best choices in shopping. The Arboretum, The Domain, La Frontera and even outlet shopping in Round Rock are a few convenient areas to shop.

Call me if you'd like more information about Scofield Farm or other Austin neighborhoods, I'd love to help.

Circle C Ranch Neighborhood

Monday, April 13th, 2009 at 8:28pm. 173 Views, 1 Comments.

Convenient and desirable Circle C Ranch community has several neighborhood events for this coming weekend not to be missed! Saturday is their annual community garage sale from 8:00-5:00 where each family hosts their own garage sale. From 4:00-5:30 is the Clayton Fun Run for students preK-5th grade and afterwards the hot dog and music Celebration featuring music by Sara Hickman from 5:30-7:00. This is a great opportunity to see first hand what a wonderful community Circle C is. The CC HOA works hard to to maintain property values and has several projects going on including refurbishing the pool, volleyball court and common grounds and parks. Circle C Ranch is close to outdoor recreation such as the Veloway and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center as well…

Travis Country

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at 10:05pm. 146 Views, 0 Comments.

The Travis Country community offers residents a plethora of outdoor recreational opportunities to enjoy with swimming pools, multiple tennis courts, basketball courts, grassy park areas perfect for picnics, a pond, a nature trail and a wildflower preserve. Homes in Travis Country are in a wide range of sizes and designs due to the constuction originally starting in the '70's and completing in the '90's but the constant in the community is the abundant green spaces. Many people are drawn to the family oriented neighborhood because of the great location. Located off Southwest Parkway just off South Mopac you're only minutes from Downtown and the Austin Bergstrom International Airport and nearby is dining and shopping. If this is a neighborhood that you're…

Cat Mountain

Monday, March 30th, 2009 at 7:49pm. 127 Views, 1 Comments.

The rolling hills of Cat Mountain are the back drop to this beautiful Northwest Austin neighborhood. Building here started in the '70's and it has continued to be popular with people who are wanting a great location that has a woodsy feel with abundant wildlife. Many of the large, spacious and upscale homes offer amazing scenic views of the Hill Country and Lake Austin. The very active HOA works hard to maintain property values and encourages residents to be respectful and courteous to their neighbors when doing home improvements and remodels to retain the family friendly atmosphere it's known for. Residents enjoy the many amenities offered such as the pool, tennis and basket ball courts, clubhouse, playground and picnic areas and greenbelt trails. Located…
