A new community middle school has come to Round Rock ISD. Walsh Ranch Middle School is located in the Walsh Ranch neighborhood at 3850 Walsh Ranch Blvd, Round Rock, Texas 78681. Walsh Ranch Middle opened for the first time this fall and offers classes to grades 6-8. Current school principal is Toni Hicks and the school mascot is the Wildcat.

I passed through Taylor, Texas this weekend and must admit, the town is getting bigger.  More and more businesses are taking advantage of the small town flair, the affordibility of housing, office space and the friendly downhome Texan atmosphere.  When I moved to Austin years ago, Taylor was a six pack away, now, due to the growth of Hutto, Round Rock, Coupland, Manor, Pflugerville...Taylor is just minutes away.  New housing communities are appearing in what was once pastures. Taylor has many new possibilities and opportunities.  Check it out and definately eat at Louis Mueller Barbeque on Hwy 79 while you are there, mmmmmmmm.

It is no wonder that Brodie Springs in southwest Austin has very quickly become a very desirable place to call home. The homesites are large and most if not all have mature trees.
