Pine Forest is a subdivision with two sections, one that allows manufactured homes and one that is for site built homes only. Homes and lots are in the beautiful tall lob lolly pines in Bastrop Texas. Roads are paved for the most part but there are still some gravel roads in the subdivision. Water is provided by BCWCID #2. Telephone service is at the street. Electric service is through Bluebonnet Electric. There are a number of different sanitation services that provide regular trash pick up in the area. Location of Pine Forest
To get to Pine Forest from the Austin area, take Highway 71 southeast to Bastrop. Go through Bastrop (crossing over the Colorado River). You will climb out of the river valley on Highway 71 and pass the entry to Tahitian Village (at a light sign on your right) and the next road on your right is McAllister. That is where you will turn right and into Pine Forest, which is located on both sides of McAllister Road. The Pine Forest subdivision sign will be on your right.

Pine Forest is located approximately three miles from historic downtown Bastrop. There you can find lots of mom and pop stores and restaurants. Bastrop also has a lot of the major box stores along Highway 71. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about 20 minutes away and downtown Austin is about 40 minutes from Pine Forest.
