Tarrytown is a very popular area located in central Austin. I t is bordered by Mopac (Loop1) to the East, 35th. St. to the North and Lake Austin to the West. One of my favorite neighborhoods is Tarrytown. This old West Austin neighborhood called Tarrytown is a very diverse and eclectic place to live because, although most of the original homes were built before World War II, it is constantly evolving. Hula Hut is always a great place to visit if you’ve never been. It is located on the shores of Lake Austin, on the outskirts of the fabulous neighborhood of Tarrytown. While driving down Lake Austin Blvd. away from MoPac, you will come to a quaint little cluster of restaurants coffee shops, and a few little offices, just before the road dead ends into the boat ramps.
