The quest for good schools is never ending. This time of year it seems I'm asked to run searches for homes that are in the Baranoff, Mills, and Clayton Elementary, or Bailey, New SW Middle, and Bowie High School, all in far southwest Austin. At an open house I held this Sunday in Shady Hollow (4202 Aldama Dr) each visitor was looking for a home in these schools. The subdivision of Shady Hollow is large; prices, age, and home sizes vary greatly. Aldama Drive is in a wonderful pa... Read More »

Shady Hollow Subdivision Cell Tower? Stay Tuned! While driving through the Shady Hollow subdivision on several occasions lately, it was obvious that there was plenty of opposition to a proposal from T-Mobile to build a cell phone tower in the neighborhood. Though there was no exclamation point ending the message on the signs, it was understood to be there. The Shady ... Read More »
