Whispering Hollow Subdivision is one of Buda's premier neighborhoods. Located off of FM 1626 it's just a stones throw away from Southwest Austin. Buda TX is a small suburb of the City of Austin. Buda is located about 17 miles from downtown Austin, and gives those that want to live outside of the city the feel for country that they are seeking. Buda is quickly becoming a dorm room community for commuters. All sorts of commercial development along Interstate 35 has created a spike in the amount of city sales tax revenue as well as homeowner interest to Buda Texas. A couple of years ago, when we discovered the Whispering Hollow neighborhood, we decided that we would be very comfortable living there. My wife Claire fell in love with one of the model homes.
