About 60 acres of parks and greenbelts wind their way throughout the neighborhood and playgrounds--parks, schools and swimming facilities are all part of the package. Anderson Mill is uniquely situated in an area that is in Austin but also in Williamsom County. Students in Anderson Mill could be located in the Round Rock Independent School Districtor the Leander School District.

Anderson Mill West is across RR 620 N from Austin's neighborhood, Anderson Mill. Although Anderson Mill West is in Cedar Park, the same builder developed Anderson Mill in Austin. It begins at El Salido and RR 620 N.Upon entering Anderson Mill West, you will notice that this neighborhood is very wooded. The first section has smaller homes and are affordably priced in the mid $150's. As you move north on El Salido, the homes get larger, are priced higher and were built in t... Read More »

Anderson Mill West Neighborhood I love the Anderson Mill West neighborhood in Cedar Park, Texas for many reasons. One is location. As they say, in Real Estate it is- location, location, location. Anderson Mill West is so close to Austin, Travis County and RR 620 yet is Cedar Park. Having lived there myself, I can honestly share my opinion of the schools, parks, local shopping and eateries. My son attended Leander ISD's Cypress Creek Elementa... Read More »

About two years ago I use to live on Anderson Mill Road. Whenever you turned west on to Anderson Mill from 183 you always had to deal with a ton of traffic. While I was living there they began construction to widen the road. Just recently I drove down Anderson Mill and the construction was complete. With the expanded road the traffic has become much less than before. The only negative could be that the road is much closer to houses that back up to it.... Read More »
When I moved to Austin in the fall of 1969 there was very little development north of Anderson Lane. Today there is not much that hasn't been built in North or Northwest Austin and consequently there is very little land left that can be developed. The fact that this area has been so extensively developed with subdivisions like Anderson Mill is what makes it a very appealing area to own a home. Homes that sold in the 1980's for $ 50,000 now sell for $ 150,000 to $ 200,0... Read More »
Just north of Austin off of 183 is a great little subdivision where homebuyers can still find a moderately priced home. Anderson Mill is a fairly large sudbivision and actually use to have it's own Municipal Utility District or MUD which was created in 1973. Recently the city of Austin has annexed the subdivision so the MUD will no longer be servicing the area. The city of Austin will be taking over the district and will provice city services including wastewater, water; f... Read More »
I lived in Anderson Mill West for a couple of years on Buckeye Trail. It was a great neighborhood and I loved it there! We were renting and had great neighbors. It is an older neighborhood- most homes are 1980ish. My son attended Cypress Creek Elementary and then Cedar Park Middle School. Anderson Mill West was just accross the Williamson County line, from Travis County. Near great shopping, entertainment and services- The HEB PLus there is only abou... Read More »
